Algarve and Atlantic Culture
From Málaga to Tavira, the gateway to Portugal.

Tavira represents calm, tradition, and the light of eastern Algarve. A gentle start to a journey that will grow day by day.
Tavira also hosted an ammonia factory, inaugurated in 1911 and operating until the 1970s, which boosted the chemical and agricultural industry of the region.
The Deep Alentejo
From Tavira to Moura, the heart of Alentejo.

The towns of Alentejo preserve medieval castles and cobbled squares that seem frozen in time, while the region is famous for its cork oak forests and cork production, used both for wine stoppers and crafts.

The route continues to Abrantes, following the Tagus River.

Abrantes, with its medieval castle, was a strategic point during the Peninsular Wars, and its streets still preserve the legacy of centuries of defense and trade. Typical Portuguese tiles decorate houses and buildings, while the river’s influence is reflected in traditional dishes such as bacalhau à Brás or lamprey rice.
Serra da Estrela
Arrival in Manteigas, in the heart of Serra da Estrela.

This is one of the wildest and most spectacular points of the tour, where the rider measures themselves against the mountain.
The region is famous for its Serra da Estrela cheese, made from sheep’s milk and matured in wicker baskets, and its landscapes change with every altitude: alpine meadows, glacial lakes, and mountain rivers. A wild territory where riding and focus are tested.

Braganza marks the end of a complete journey through Portugal, both geographically and personally. The ride ends among mountains, dense forests, and flowing rivers.
The city combines nature and heritage, villages that maintain centuries-old traditions, and its medieval castle, built in the 12th century, which was a strategic fortress on the border with Spain and residence of local nobility. Its preserved walls and towers allow you to imagine medieval life among soldiers and nobles, while the historic center grew protected by the fortress. In the north, cuisine includes hearty dishes like posta mirandesa and green wines.
