General Description
A spectacular journey from the Triumph factory in England to Barcelona, one of Europe’s most cosmopolitan destinations. Itinerary
Día 1. London – Hinckley (Triumph tour) – Birmingham. 210km (60km en motorcycle)
First thing in the morning, a presentation will be held at the Ace Café in London where the administrative formalities will be carried out. We will transfer the group to Hinckley and at the scheduled time begin the “Triumph Factory Visitor Experience”. After seeing the manufacture of some of the best motorcycles on the market and enjoy its “relaxing area”, we will hop on our motorcycles for a short trip to Birmingham.

Day 2. Birmingham – Portsmouth – night Ferry – Caen.250km (on motorcycle)
After breakfast and checkout from the hotel, we will head to the Motorcycle Museum. After the visit we resume our route, stopping to eat at Oxford—known for its university and for being the location of movies such as Harry Potter. Once we arrive to Portsmouth, we will have some time to enjoy the city before taking the night ferry (interior shared cabin). Night sailing.

Day 3. Caen (landing beaches) – Saint Michel – Dinan. 250km
First thing in the morning, we will arrive in Caen and undergo customs formalities. We begin our journey in the French country making a brief visit to some of the great landing beaches. From here we will see one of its big attractions—Mont Saint Michel, an islet whose access depends on the tides and one of the most attractive small walled cities of Normandy. Dinan will be the final destination of this stage. A small city in Bretagne, where the typical activity is to wander through the Jerzual street that joins the port with the medieval centre.

Day 4. Dinan – Morlaix – Brest – Quimper- 300km
From Dinan we start the trip towards Quimper. We will pass by Roscoff, Guingamp with its fairy-tale houses and Saint-Brieuc with its large cliffs and its port. Two of the most interesting points of this stage will be Morlaix, with a spectacular aqueduct in the middle of the port, and Brest—a city that emerged after the attacks of WWII and known for its green spaces. From Quimper it will be interesting to pass through the Armorica Regional Park with its eternal valleys, infinite views and large cliffs. The last part of day will be in Quimper, with its three artistic neighbourhoods, history and specialities such as pottery and embroidery.

Day 5. Quimper – La Rochelle 370km
After breakfast, and weather permitting, we will enjoy one of the three big neighbourhoods of Quimper and then continue on our way. This is a moment to discover a big part of the Atlantic coast of the French Bretagne, since you can’t leave without spending a few minutes exploring villages such as Concornau, Pont Avent (where Gaugin founded a school) or Lorient. On our way, we will pass by Vannes, a village of the French Bretagne, with wonderful fortresses and castles. A bit further down the road are oyster fishing areas such as Guerande or Saint Nazare. A spectacular route with a last section through the reserve of Baie de Aiguillon—giving us access to La Rochelle.

Day 6. La Rochelle – Sarlat 350km
We face a new stage in our tour of the French coast when coming across towns like Roquefort and Saintes—which has an important Roman past since it’s more than 2000 years old. We also pass by Perigueux, right on the way to Santiago along with the cathedral of Saint-Font. We end this day in Sarlat—a medieval city and culinary and cultural centre. We will have the chance to see some of the area where movies like “Chocolat” were shot.

Day 7. Sarlat – Carcasona 300km
After leaving the charming village of Sarlat and having walked through its streets, we continue on our way to Carcassonne. One of the important moments will be passing by the Regional Park of Causses du Quercy. We can’t miss out on this sacred city of Rocamadour located on a cliff in the middle of the Alzou canyon. Following our route through big cities like Mountauban or Toulusse, we arrive to Carcassonne. A spectacular city, three kilometres of fortress and 52 towers—Europe’s most fortified city. We will have the opportunity to enjoy some of the activities of the Carcassonne festival in the midst of summer.

Day 8. Carcasona – Barcelona 375km
We leave the most charming village of Occitanie, as it’s time to enjoy the last kilometres of stage flooded with breath-taking views. We will encounter numerous green areas and small villages on our journey such as Limoux—right before passing through the French Pyrenees. We will make a quick stop in Perpignan, where we will notice the Spanish influence left behind by the Kingdom of Majorca. Afterwards, it will be time to explore the Spanish Pyrenees’ best slopes, passing by natural areas such as the Milany-Santa Magdalena nature park and Puigsacalm-Bellmunt. Finally, after this intense journey we will arrive to Barcelona—one of the most cosmopolitan maritime cities in Europe. Arrival and end of trip.
